So, who am I?
My name is Gali Nes, and I’m on the cusp of 30.
Fifteen years back, right when life was at its ‘half-time whistle’, I fell head over heels into the world of yoga.
I think the real beauty of magic is that you never know how it’s done.
I can’t explain, but I felt there – the butterfly, the belly – it was my first true love.
However, I’m a very practical person.
I decided to put this aside as everyone told me it was just a nice habit. I woke up at 6:00 AM every morning, never giving up on my practice.
The most surprising thing to me was that yoga, which I used to view as impractical, was, in the end, the thing that helped me connect to myself in the most powerful way.
Getting to the Core of Yoga
Yoga, to me, transcends the image of headstands or remote mountaintops with closed eyes.
It embodies the capacity to express your finest self in your everyday life and routines. Without yoga, tasks may linger longer, challenges seem more daunting, and disruptions carry a heavier weight.
The moment I grant myself a brief pause in silence, answers effortlessly manifest within my experience.
